Joseph William Begovac, age 64, of Trenary, died Thursday, September 27, 2018 at his home under the loving care of his family, following a long battle with multiple sclerosis. He was born on September 19, 1954 in Detroit, Michigan to Joseph F. and Adah (Fitzgerald) Begovac. At a young age, Joe’s family moved back to Trenary where he grew up playing with his four brothers and all of the neighborhood kids. Joe married Kathy Allen in 2000, and gained a loving daughter Kelly. He loved trapping, hunting, fishing, and anything he could do in the great outdoors. Joe also loved sharing his passion for the outdoors by teaching his sons, nephews, and anyone that wanted to learn about trapping and the U.P. wilderness.
