Arthur Edward Savola

Arthur Edward Savola, age 71 of Germfask and formerly of Trenary, died on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at the McLaren Northern Michigan Hospital in Petoskey.  He was born on October 12, 1944 in Trenary to William and Gertrude (Elloma) Savola.  He is survived by his sisters – Eleanor (Jerry) Paterick, Nancy (Bob) Zelloe, Irma (Matt) Lesneski, Arlene Shaw, and Sally (Pat) Mullaly; brother – LeRoy Savola; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Arthur was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Lila (Vernon) Pischel, Norma Viau, Lillian (Henry) Trotter, and Walter (Betty) Savola.   Graveside services will be held at the Mathias Township Cemetery in Trenary on Thursday, July 21, 2016 at 11:00 a.m.
