Beverly Ann Cotter, age 89, of Wetmore, died peacefully at her home late Tuesday evening, June 16, 2026 under the loving care of her family and North Woods Home Hospice. She was born on August 18, 1936 in Munising to the late Floyd and Tynne (Latvala) Beaudry. Bev graduated from Wm. G. Mather High School in 1954. She worked at Mary’s Grill and the Forest Inn as a waitress. On January 21, 1956, she married Robert “Bob” Cotter and they moved to Dixon, Illinois where they raised their three children. Bev worked for Admiral, a factory where she assembled radios. She was an avid bowler and never missed Wednesday night leagues. Bev loved to exercise and was an immaculate housekeeper, keeping her home spotless. In their earlier years, Bob and Bev enjoyed boating and as their kids got older, enjoyed travelling across the U.S. They moved back to the Upper Peninsula in 1986 to their camp on Lost Lake and made that their forever home. She enjoyed baking pies and shared her pies with her sister to sell at the Buckhorn. Bev was a faithful member of Sacred Heart Church.

She is survived by her son – Terry (June) Cotter of AuTrain; daughter – Cheryl (Philip) Arnold of Prophetstown, IL; grandchildren – Matthew E. Brown-Linn, T.J. Cotter, Nathaniel Arnold, Natalie (Barbi) Momolu, Jacob (Hannah) Arnold, and Emily (Aric) Essig; great-grandchild – Aela Brown-Linn, Philip, Isabella, Isaac, and Josephine Momolu and Dashel Essig; sisters – Janice Nolan, Lynn Beckwith, and Kristy (Jeff) Kouri; and numerous nieces and nephews.
