Catherine “Kay” Johnson (nee Bouschor), age 94, of Munising, died Saturday, April 5, 2025 at Medilodge. She was born on November 28, 1930 to the late Charles and Bertha (Soulier) Bouschor. Kay was a talented knitter and crocheter. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and church family at the First Presbyterian Church in Munising. She enjoyed playing BINGO and scored a perfect 29 hand in cribbage.

Kay is survived by her son Walter (Kristine) Bower, Jr. of Shingleton, and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughters Kathy Payan and Linda Bower, and husbands Ed Johnson and Gerald Elya.

A graveside service will be held at Maple Grove Cemetery at a later date.
