Charlotte Allegra Johns of Davison (formally of Munising) age 94 died Wednesday May 14, 2025 at Rose Cottage. Honoring her wishes cremation has taken place memorial services will take at later date with burial at Maple Grove Cemetery in Munising, Michigan

Charlotte was born in Porter Township, Michigan on November 13, 1930 the daughter of the late Clell and Esther (Miller) Harry and resided in the Burton area for over 30 years before moving to Munising. She was joined in marriage to Clayton Johns on August 21, 1953 and he preceded her in death on August 26, 2002. Charlotte was member of Evergreen Valley Church in Burton and Munising Wesleyan Church for many years. She enjoyed a life with simple pleasures like baking and picking berries, the satisfaction of canning her harvests, and the friendly competition of playing Skip-Bo. Charlotte getting her driver’s license later in life was a significant milestone, opening up the freedom of the road, which she embraced by driving everywhere, but above all these joys her greatest delight was her kids.

She leaves to cherish her memory children: Archie and wife Debbie Johns, Mary Lou Stevens, Wesley and wife Darlene Johns, and Bonnie and husband Steve Zoromski; grandchildren: Andrea, Sandra, Brandy, Michael, Zachariah, Marc, Michael, Sarah, and Emily; many great grandchildren; sisters: Emily Ode, and Eva Metcalf, and host of extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by son: Johnny and daughter in law Jane Johns, son in law: James Stevens, and sister: Lois DeWeese.

A graveside service will be held on August 2, 2025 at 12:00 noon at Maple Grove Cemetery in Munising, MI, with a luncheon to follow.
