Danielle (LaCombe) Sickelsmith

Danielle (LaCombe) Sickelsmith passed away suddenly at her home Friday morning March 17,2023. Leaving behind her husband Cory Sickelsmith and three daughters, Willow, Violet, and Iris. Danielle was born in Marquette to Susan (Maki) and Scott LaCombe July 26, 1989 and spent her childhood living in AuTrain Township.  She attended Munising Schools graduating in 2007, she went on to graduate from Bay College and worked at Bell Memorial Hospital and Munising Memorial Hospital before moving to Three Rivers Michigan after she met her husband to be Cory. Danielle and Cory were married at Miners Castle in 2015, they welcomed a daughter Willow in 2016, then Violet in 2018, and Iris in 2020. Danielle and Cory moved back to the Upper Peninsula to raise their family in Marquette County where Danielle took care of the loves of her life Cory and the girls.

Danielle is survived by her husband Cory and their daughters, mom and dad, siblings Andrew (Mallory) LaCombe, Whitney (Matty Arnold) LaCombe, Jordan (Emilly) LaCombe, and grandmother Gloria Maki. Mother and father in law Greg and Tia Sickelsmith, brother in law Chris (Cassie) Sickelsmith, sister in law Kayla (Travis) Denman and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Danielle was preceded in death by her grandmother Jean Ann LaCombe, grandfather William Maki and grandfather David LaCombe.

There will be a celebration of Danielle’s life on Saturday, July 22, 2023 at the American Legion in Munising from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
