Delpha “Alice” Barker, age 88, of Chatham, Michigan and formerly of Kokomo, Indiana died on Friday, May 19, 2017 at U.P Health System Marquette in Marquette, Michigan. She was born on October 22, 1928 in Russiaville, Indiana. Alice was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She married Loren S. Barker on June 11, 1990. Alice retired from General Motors and she and Loren moved to the U.P. after retirement. Alice enjoyed reading and working crossword puzzles.
She is survived by her husband – Loren Barker of Chatham; son – Michael McQuinn; stepchildren – Richard (Rhonda) Barker and Tammy Barker; grandchildren – Tracie, Josh, Holly, and Crystal; great-granddaughters – Kennedy and McKenna, and numerous nieces and nephews. Alice was preceded in death by her parents and stepson Kent Barker.
