Ellen E. Anderson, age 96, of Christmas, died on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at the Medilodge of Munising.  She was born Ellen Boheme in Dresden, Germany on November 21, 1921 and moved to the United States after WWII.  Ellen married Larry Anderson on November 23, 1972 and they lived in California where she worked as a medical transcriptionist.  After Larry’s retirement, the moved to Christmas and she enjoyed entertaining friends.  Ellen was fluent in German, French, and English.  She had a strong devotion to Larry and had a great love for animals.  Ellen is survived by a sister in Germany.

Graveside services will be held at the Maple Grove Cemetery in Munising on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Virginia Mannisto officiating.
