Frank Niespodziany

Frank Niespodziany, age 80 of Kiva, died Tuesday morning, June 12, 2018.  Frank was born in South Bend, Indiana on October 19, 1937 to Frank and Irene (Taberski) Niespodziany.  He was a High School Graduate of Washington Clay High School in South Bend, Indiana.  He entered the US Navy in October of 1956 and was honorably discharged in October of 1961.  He married Jean Bowman in 1961 and together they raised one son.  Frank was a Mason when living in Indiana.  He worked for many years at Allied Aircraft and after his retirement from there, he went on to be a cabinet maker for 8 years.  Frank and his wife Jean enjoyed playing music together, he played guitar, building model planes and boats, hunting, fishing, archery and his love for the outdoors.

He is survived by his wife Jean (Bowman) of Kiva, son; Ted (Debby) of South Bend, Indiana.  Grandchildren; Sara and Michael Niespodziany.   Frank was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter Lisa.

Visitation will take place on Monday, June 18, 2018 from 5:00 until 7:00 pm at the Bowerman Funeral Home with Military Honors conducted at 6:30 pm by the American Legion and Vietnam Veterans Honor Guard.  A Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at 12:00 noon at St. Rita Catholic Church with Father Joseph Vandannoor officiating.  Burial will take place in South Bend, Indiana at a later date.
