Josiah Ray Mudder, three-day old son of Jacob and Liberty (Heyrman) Mudder passed unexpectedly and peacefully at the Minneapolis Children’s Hospital on Tuesday, August 18, 2026. He was born in Mitchell, South Dakota on August 15, 2026. The handsome baby was a wonderful addition to the Mudder family. Josiah is survived by his parents Jacob and Liberty; grandparents Ken, Amy, Jim, and Samantha; great-grandparents Ed, Elaine, Ken, Bevyjean, Diane, and Joanne; aunts and uncles Kenny & Starr, Andy & Megan, Gabe, Jamie & Megan, and Jaylen & Melanie; cousins Skyelan, Kenny, Lochlan, Dallas, Bentley, Dawsyn, Declan, and Audi. He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents Jerry, Cherilyn, George, Gladys, and Joanne; his great-uncles Jay and Tim.
Graveside services will begin at 1:00 PM on August 23, 2026 in the Maple Grove Cemetery in Munising, MI.
