Kamden Avery
Vogelpohl
August 25, 2022 – April 23, 2026
With profound sadness, we share the passing of Kamden Avery Vogelpohl on April 23, 2026 who brought immeasurable joy and love into the lives of everyone who met him. Kamden was born August 25, 2022 in Marquette Michigan to Dawn Johnson and Tyler Vogelpohl. He spent his short life filling everyone around him with joy and laughter.
Kamden, also known as Kammi, Kam Kam, baby brother, and squeek, was a momma’s boy. He spent a lot of his time following his mother around, trying to be close to her or on top of her at all times, he loved being her little shadow. He loved all animals, but got his love for reptiles from his father, who he wanted to help with everything. If dad was doing something, Kam was trying to help. He especially loved his big brother Matthew. Kam wanted to be like Matthew, watch the same things, have the same toys, do the same things, even at his young age he looked up to his big brother. He was happiest when he was outside playing, exploring, and getting muddy.
Kamden will be forever loved and missed by his family and anyone who knew him. His wild, curly blond hair, big blue eyes that always shined, and his laugh that was contagious have given us all memories that can’t be forgotten. This sweet little boy was taken way too soon from a world that loved him, but his memory will live on and the love for him will continue in the hearts of his family.
He will be heartbreakingly missed by his parents –Dawn Johnson and Tyler Vogelpohl; brother – Matthew Vogelpohl; grandparents – Jennifer (James Hall) Johnson, Justin (Melissa) Johnson, Sheila Trisch, Randy Wymer, Belinda Vogelpohl, Rick Vogelpohl, and Bonnie (Patrick) Syers; great-grandparents – James and Connie Johnson and Cheri Vogelpohl; aunts and uncles – Jayden (Cassie) Johnson, Richie (Ana Steinhoff) Vogelpohl, Michael (Gabby Demogola) Vogelpohl, Chris (Kelly) Vogelpohl, Jamie Hall, Daniel Benjamen, Kalin Wymer, Jolynn Graves-Heidtman, Ashley Trisch, and Anna Trisch; and numerous cousins. Kamden was preceded in death by his great grandparents – Lylette Johnson, Gene Vogelpohl, and Roy Helton.
Private family services were held.
