Karen was involved in the concert and marching band for her school playing the french horn and trumpet. She graduated from Holt High School in 1973. While still in school, and at a church service she met and then fell in love with her best friend Craig Robinson. They were married on August 24, 1974 and together they raised their four children. Karen worked for many years at Munising Memorial Hospital in the ER and on the floor. She was a talented artist who made beautiful crafts and quilts.
