Lisa Jones

Lisa (Jenkins) Jones, age 47, of Munising died unexpectedly while on holiday with Malcolm in England on October 21, 2025. She was born in Kansas City, Missouri on March 20, 1978 to the late John and Anna Jenkins. Lisa moved to Munising in 2014 after visiting family. She married Malcolm Jones on October 26, 2015. Lisa was a homemaker and waitressed years ago at The Navigator and Earl E. Byrds. She loved rock music with Shinedown being her favorite band. Lisa was talented in the kitchen. She loved to cook, especially Tex-Mex and loved to smoke meat in the smoker, especially during the winter. Lisa liked to be out in the garden and grow her own vegetables, especially peppers that she used in her cooking. She loved her truck and because it was her late father’s, she loved taking rides and feeling the connection to him. Lisa enjoyed watching true crime shows, and Dr. Phil, but the highlight of her year was Shark Week. She loved her cats, and Carter was her boy. Lisa loved family and was always sending cat reels to Malcolm. They enjoyed being together at home.

She is survived by her husband of ten years – Malcolm Jones of Munising; children – Aden Wells and Ella Moore; sisters – Kimberly Smith and Stephanie Jenkins Bond. Lisa was preceded in death by her parents and brother Robert Jenkins.
