Mary Attwell

Eben Junction

          Mary Attwell, age 85, of Eben Junction, went to be to be with Jesus while she slept on November 29, 2023.  Mary, who was known to all as Nana loved the Lord with all her heart and soul.  She loved and prayed for her daughter, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.  Nana prayed for salvation, grace, and restoration.  Mary loved spending time with her dog Sophie, the farm animals, knitting, crocheting, writing, reading, watching the birds, and dressing up for any occasion.  She enjoyed working in her little garden and gathering apples for the goats.  Mary’s daughter Cory was so grateful for these past years together.  The two of them had just returned from a 4110 mile road trip to see Nana’s grandson and great-granddaughters in Texas.  Mary was a single mom and strong.  She did the best she could, and at the end of the day that is all any of us can do, and she did good and her daughter is very proud of her. 

          Nana is survived by her daughter Cory, grandchildren Cassy, Katie, Todd, Jr., Cody, Nate, Aubry, and Izzy and several great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her sister Alice.
