MUNISING
Mary P. Gosselin, age 93, died at her home on Stone Street on Friday, December 14, 2007. She was born on September 14, 1914, in Munising, to the late Charles and Myrtle (Cannon) Prato. Mary graduated with honors from William G. Mather in 1932. On June 12, 1935, she married Ernest "Buck" Gosselin, and together they raised their two sons. Mary worked as a lab secretary at Kimberly Clark where she retired from in 1974. She was a very active member at the First Presbyterian Church of Munising where she was a member of the Westminster Guild. Mary was also a member of the Hospital Auxiliary. Mary enjoyed the outdoors, whether she was picnicking at Forest Lake, or working in her vegetable and flower garden. The most important thing to Mary was her family. She enjoyed traveling with them, and loved to prepare everyone's favorite meal and baking their favorite treats.
Mary is survived by her son - Michael (Bernadette) Gosselin of Wyandotte, MI; daughter-in-law - Margaret Gosselin of Munising; brother - Kenneth Prato of Munising; sister - Virginia Ahola of Stone Mountain, GA; five grandchildren - Michele (Michael) Albright, Kristi (Steve) Dausey, Rebecca (Jeff) Cutler, Michael R. Gosselin, Nicole Gosselin; seven great-grandchildren - Ian and Kayla Albright, Bruce, Stevie, and Mickie Dausey, Emma Cutler, Connor Mauritho; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband - Buck Gosselin; parents - Charles and Myrtle; son - Bruce E. Gosselin; sisters - Ruby (Andy) Mahalic, Alice Strand; brother - Richard Archambeau; sister-in-law- Vida Prato; brother-in-law - Arthur Ahola; grandson - Devin M. Albright; and stepfather Henery Archambeau.

A visitation will be Thursday, December 20, 2007, from noon until 1:00 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Munising. Pastor Debora Hubbard will conduct Mary's memorial service beginning at 1:00 p.m.
