Michael James Nash

Michael James Nash, age 55, of Anchorage, Alaska, died on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 following a lengthy illness. Mike was born on November 22, 1970 in Munising to Billie and Patricia (Bowerman) Nash. The Nash family was an Air Force family and they lived in Michigan, Mississippi, California, and eventually Tennessee. Mike attended Gwinn High School and Riverdale High School in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. He moved to Alaska many years ago.

Michael is survived by his wife – Dawn Nash; children – Amelia, Brittany, Nicole, and James; three grandchildren; his parents – Bill and Patty Nash of Munising; sisters - Barbie (Steve) Cheatham, Lisa Hetrick, and Cheryl (Jason) Inman; sister-in-law – Debi Nash; nieces and nephews – Tiffany, Justin, Sydney, Cody, Holly, Riley, and Reagan; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his brother Bruce Nash.
