Rose "Rosie" Peters

Munising

 Rose “Rosie” J. Peters, age 92, of Munising, died peacefully Sunday, September 22, 2024 at home under the loving care of Iryna and Ed Peters. She was born on March 13, 1932 in Munising to Antonia and John Vessel. At a young age Rosie was adopted by Michael and Ann Kusmirek. She graduated from Wm. G. Mather High School. Rosie married Robert G. Peters in August of 1955. Sadly, Rosie was widowed in December of 1955. She worked for a short time at the Post Office before starting at Kimberly Clark where she was a paper tester. Rosie lived independently on Sand Point Road for many years and would shovel her long driveway with snow scoop. She enjoyed playing cards and going for walks.

 Rosie was preceded in death by her husband R.G. Peters, daughter Renee Lynn Peters, parents, and siblings 

 Interment was at Maple Grove Cemetery in Munising.
