Shawn E. Wilder, age 47, of Shawano, WI and formerly of Christmas, MI, died Saturday, August 5, 2017 in Shawano. He was born on April 24, 1970. Shawn graduated from Munising High School in 1988. He began working for Burton Trucking, Enright and Shelter Bay Excavating, Kevin Kolbus, and Munising Auto Repair. Shawn moved to Shawano, Wisconsin and worked for Foremost Farms and Moring Glory which later became Dean Foods. He enjoyed working on and fixing anything with a motor, riding snowmobile, and motor bikes. Shawn was a kind man, and was always just a phone call away to help a friend in trouble.
He is survived by his mother Janet Kiefer-Hanson of Christmas, girlfriend Diane Sahotsky of Shawano, and uncle Brian Wilder of Hollywood, FL.
Visitation will be at the Bowerman Funeral Home in Munising, Michigan on Friday, August 11, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Pastor Mark Werner will conduct Shawn’s funeral at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at the Maple Grove Cemetery in Munising.
