Sheila Mae Goodman

Sheila Mae Goodman, age 75, of Gilliland Road, Trenary, died under the care of Lake Superior Hospice and her family on Monday morning, September 21, 2015. She was born on December 10, 1939 in Metropolis, IL to Benjamin and Verba (Terry) Harrison. She grew up in Metropolis graduated from Metropolis High School. Sheila married Arthur "Calvin" Goodman and together they had three children. She was a homemaker and member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Sheila enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and playing Fable with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed watching Cheyenne, an old western. Clint Walker was her man.

Sheila is survived by her children - David Goodman of Metropolis, Joan Morgan of Trenary, and Alissa Goodman of Metropolis; grandchildren - Reuban and Autumn Morgan and Racheal Davis; great-grandson - John Miller III; brother - Ben Harrison of Texas; and sister - Pat Spaulding of Texas.

Private family services were held.
