Stacey Anne LaVack LaFave

Stacey Anne (LaVack) LaFave of Oscoda went home to be with Jesus her Lord and Savior on January 22, 2026 at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City. Stacey was born on March 5, 1978 to Mark and Ena LaVack in Tawas City. 

Stacey graduated from Munising High School in 1996 and married Brad LaFave at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church of Munising that same year. She enjoyed long walks, campfires, music and gardening. Stacey previously resided in Leesburg, Florida and Castle Pines, Colorado. She was employed as manager of Rogers Ace Hardware in Oscoda.

Stacey leaves behind many who loved her deeply, her parents, Mark and Ena LaVack of Oscoda, her siblings Tammy (Larry) Weaver of Marquette and Josh (Steph) LaVack of Thompsonville, her fiancé, Brandon Barnes and future stepson Jayden of Oscoda, her children Logan (Bri) LaFave of Castle Rock, Colorado and Tori (Aidan) Smith of Rose City, her grandchildren, Patrick, Declan, William, Ze’lie and Luke also of Rose City.

Visitation with the family is scheduled 1 PM Saturday, February 7 followed by a celebration of life service 2 PM with luncheon following at Oscoda Assembly of God Church (5581 Old US Highway 23, Oscoda Twp. 48750). Interment will be at Pinecrest Cemetery in Oscoda.
