Victoria “Vicky” Ann Lacy-Stevenson, age 67, of Munising, died peacefully near family late Saturday evening, October 4, 2025 at Munising Memorial Hospital. She was born on April 29, 1958 in Detroit to the late George and Dorothy (Balow) Prain. Vicky grew up in Bloomfield Hills and loved the Detroit Red Wings, fast cars, and horses. She carried the love for horses with her throughout her life. After graduating from Bloomfield Hills, she married Gary Lee Lacy. They lived in Bellaire, Sault Ste. Marie, and Marquette while raising two sons. Vicky owned and operated a Bed and Breakfast for many years. She moved to Munising to help care for her mother. Vicky met Paul Stevenson and they were married on January 12, 2019. Vicky enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening, and she planted perennials everywhere. She was a good cook and artist, and she had an eye for photography. Vicky enjoyed socializing with people, and she cared deeply about her friends.
She is survived by her husband – Paul Stevenson; sons – Adam Lacy of Marquette and Michael Lacy of Munising; grandchildren that she adored – Savannah and Barrett; and former mother-in-law – Marian Lacy. Vicky was preceded in death by her parents George and Dorothy Prain and her former husband Gary Lacy.
A private memorial will be planned for close friends and family.
