William (Bill) Morrison passed away, February 29, 2024 peacefully in his home with his loving wife, Rita and his Lil' Man by his side after his 9 year battle with cancer which he fought with amazing strength and courage and never lost his sense of humor.

He was born June 12, 1962 in Munising, MI.  He graduated from Munising High School in 1980 where he met his loving wife of 41 years, Rita (Kordish). Together they had two Sons, Dale and Corey who were his pride and joy.  His passion for cooking, which he got from his mother led him to restaurants and his cooking at home.  He would cook for the neighborhood troops when the boys were growing up. His favorite saying to them was, "Are you eating? If not get out!" They enjoyed his cooking as much as he enjoyed cooking for them.  Bill's other passion in life was driving. This led him to Pikes Distributors, 16 years for Mining Journal, and then Meals on Wheels. Bill loved his customers and went above and beyond to help them in any way they needed. He spent the summers at Pat's Foods when he followed his dream and began wintering in Sebring, FL.  This was his happy place and he called it Heaven.

Bill's legacy will carry on through his wife Rita, son Dale (Brittany), grandson Corey, son Corey (Jennifer), beautiful granddaughter Emersyn, grandsons Jaxon and Bently.

He leaves behind siblings Larry Dunklee and Pam, Kathy Watson, Eddie and Marilyn Morrison, Mary Jo and Jack Gariepy, Dick and Mary Beth Morrison, David and Allie Morrison.  Cathy Kordish, Bob Kordish, Anne and Rick Gumz, Mary Sue Macy, David and Sherry Kordish. His best friends Geoff Gatiss and Bill Belen and his best Florida friends Al and Shirley Thompson.

His parents Cornelius and Gretta, parent in laws John and Mary Kordish, brothers Tom and Tim, and brother-in-law Bill Watson, Francis Kordish, Scott Macy, and sister in law Sandra Kordish preceded Bill in his death.

No public services are being held at this time.
