William Thomas Rousseau, Jr., age 61, of Munising, died unexpectedly at his home on July 6, 2025. He was born in Kenosha, Wisconsin on February 6, 1964 to William “Bill” and Judith (Johnson) Rousseau, Sr. Will participated in Munising Mustang football, basketball and golf. He graduated from Munising High School in 1982 and always enjoyed class reunions with his friends. Will joined the U.S. Army from 1982 until 1986 where he served in Fort Polk, LA, Forth Behning, GA, and in Germany. He married Doreen “Dodie” Nikunen in 1983 and together raised their daughters. After the Army, Will became an electrician and was a member of IBEW Union. He traveled from coast to coast and Hawaii for work. Will was an avid Green Bay Packer fan. He loved his family and enjoyed golfing in the summer (and had a hole in one on No. 16 in 2024) and snowmobiling in the winter. Will played in a pool league and was blessed with many good friends and especially with dear friends Ray Klosowski and Josh Doré.

Will is survived by his daughters – Noel (John) Goss, Veronica Rousseau, and Tori Rousseau; parents – Bill and Judi Rousseau; grandchildren – Weston, Willie, Willow, Axel, Michael, Dionne, and James; sister – Nicki (Bart) Stimac; mother-in-law – Linda Seymour; niece – Samantha; nephew – Cole; and many other friends. He was preceded in death by Dodie, his sister Stephanie Rousseau Whitebird, grandparents Axel and Peggy Johnson and Bill and Vivian Rousseau; and great friend Foggy St. Amour.

Military honors and a celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
