William "Bill" H. Whippen, Jr.

William “Bill” Whippen, Jr., age 60, of Clinton Township, Michigan and formerly of Munising, died March 10, 2021 at his home.  He was born on November 11, 1960 and was the son of William and Janet (Berg) Whippen.  Bill grew up in Munising and graduated from Wm. G. Mather High School.  He served in the U.S. Army.  Bill moved downstate and worked many years in a stamping factory for automotive parts.  He enjoyed watching NASCAR and spending time with family.

Bill is survived by his uncle Leonard Berg, nephew Jeff (Jenn) Meyer, niece Leslie (Brent) McMordie, and many cousins.  He was preceded in death by his parents Bill and Janet and sister Janice (Stuart) Meyer.

A graveside services will be held at Maple Grove Cemetery on Friday, August 20, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. for both Bill and his mother Janet Whippen.
