Hardin, MT / Munising, MI

Alesia Compton, age 57, of Hardin, Montana and formerly of Munising passed away unexpectedly at her home in Hardin on July 30, 2021.  She attended Wm. G. Mather High School.  Alesia worked many different jobs and was a manager at IGA.  She loved many things: Christmas lights, pictures of sunsets, celebrating holidays, the color purple, hummingbirds, rock picking, gardening, cooking, and most of all, she loved making people laugh.  Alesia was a genuine caring person with a heart of gold and lived life to the fullest.  Anyone that met her loved her right away.  Alesia came from a large interwoven family full of love. She was lovingly given the nickname Me-Mo from her children.  Alesia was taken from us too soon, she will never know how much she will be missed.

Alesia is survived by her partner of 27 years – Bob Becker of Hardin; children – Brittany (Todd) Turnsplenty, Robert Becker, Jr, and Brandon “Bubba” Becker all of Hardin, Keith “Paco” (Christina) Compton of Green Bay, WI, Natasha Compton of California, and Anna Schmidt of Rochester, NY; grandchildren – Zsalei, D’Andre, Tayvin, Nellie, Kylee, Kason, Kendric, Caymien, Coleigh, Natalie, Jaden, and Kaeden; birth father – Arland Brock of Munising, birth mother – Lillian Thompson of California; siblings – LaPrel Morrison of Munising, Bonnie (Les) Trumbell of Iron Mountain, Diane (Gene) Cline of Washington, and David (Marie) Brock of Bullhead City, AZ; half-brothers – Jimmy (Kim) Brock – Virginia Beach and Billy Brock of Iron Mountain; half-sisters – Heather Thompson and Kelly Thompson both of Arizona; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.  She was preceded in death by her grandparents/adopted parents – Harold and Irene Brock and brother – Chum (Phyllis) Brock.
