Barbara Jean (Case) Whipple

Barbara Jean Whipple, age 90, of Munising and longtime resident of Hudson, Michigan, died late afternoon on Friday, September 18, 2020 at Medilodge in Munising.  She was born on November 5, 1929 in Adrian, Michigan to Okie and Sadie (Briggs) Case and grew up in Hudson.  She married Mahylon Whipple in 1948 and they raised their three children in Rollin, Michigan.  Barbara was a homemaker and enjoyed working with plastic canvas cross stitch, crocheting, working crossword puzzles, and watching game shows.

She is survived by three children – Douglas (Barbara) Whipple of Baltimore, Ohio, Debbie (Dewey) Higley of Curtis, Michigan, and James Whipple of Morencie, Michigan; grandchildren – Jean Whipple, Joseph (Michelle) Whipple, Jennifer (Andy) Case, Cindy (T.J.) Flanagan, and Dewey (Angela) Higley; and great grandchildren – Zach Whipple and Grace Higley.  Barbara was preceded in death by her parents and siblings William Case and Doris Frederick.

There will be no public services held.
