Obituary

Bruce William Nash, age 61, of Antioch, Tennessee with childhood connections to Munising and Gwinn, died on Friday evening, April 21, 2023 at the Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville, TN.  He was born on February 20, 1962 in Munising, the first born of Bill and Patty (Bowerman) Nash.  Growing up in an Air Force family, he lived around the country and world depending on where his dad was stationed.  Bruce graduated from Gwinn High School in 1981 where he was a standout athlete for the Modeltowners.  He attended Northern Michigan University and then served in the U.S. Army in the 160th Night Stalkers.  He was a great dad, loving person,  a lifelong fan of the Michigan Wolverines and Green Bay Packers, and a collector of Nike shoes to match whatever he was wearing.

He is survived by his wife of 23 years -  Debi Nash; children -  Tiffany Smith,  Justin (Lauren) Nash, and Megan (Chad) Cherry; parents – Bill and Patty Nash of Munising; grandchildren -  Eric, Donavan, Cordell & Hadley; siblings -  Barbie (Steve) Cheatham, Lisa Hetrick,  Michael (Dawn) Nash, and Cheryl (Jason) Inman; nieces and nephews – Sydney, Cody, Holly, Nicole, James, Riley, and Reagan; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Services were held in Tennessee.
