Doyle A. Bush

Doyle A. Bush, age 63, of Marquette and formerly of Trenary, died Monday, March 22, 2021 at the Bayside Village in L’Anse.  He was born on August 24, 1957 in Escanaba, MI to the late Harry Bush and Alice Fetterhoff. Doyle grew up in Trenary before moving to Marquette where he received special educational care.  He loved arts and crafts, being with his friends, and going for walks.  Doyle was grateful for his opportunities to participate in the Special Olympics where he earned multiple ribbons in snowshoeing and basketball.  He looked forward to working with Lakestate Industries and his recycling job.  Doyle had a tender heart, infectious smile, and always looked out for those around him.

He is survived by his siblings – Ruth Brisson, Margaret Lasofsky, Nancy, Dale, Dean, and Darryl (Gail) Bush; sister-in-law Cora Bush; God-daughter – Rachel Bush; and numerous nieces and nephews. Doyle was preceded in death by his parents, siblings – Charles, Alex, Norma, Jack, Dennis, Rose Marie, and Kent Bush, and Carol Latvala; brothers-in-law – Bob Brisson, Joe Lasofsky, Joe Oberstar, and Ken Reeves; and many loved aunts and uncles.

A memorial service will be held at a later date, and interment will be at the Mathias Township Cemetery in Trenary.
