Jacqueline “Jackie” (Chilicki) McGee, age 52, of Shingleton, died late Sunday, February 7, 2021 at UPHS Marquette following a one-week illness. She was born on October 31, 1967 in Munising, daughter of Charles and Waltraude “Judy” (Külick) Chilicki. Jackie grew up in Van Meer and graduated from Munising High School, a member of the Class of 1986. Jackie married Bill McGee and she raised her three daughters - Elisabeth, Johanna, and Barbra. She worked as a caregiver at Maple Ridge Adult Care Home for many years. Jackie enjoyed fishing, listening to country music, and playing cards, but above all, she loved being a Grandma.
Jackie is survived by her mother – Judy Chilicki of Manistique; daughters – Elisabeth (David) Tidwell of Harvey, Johanna (Carlton Drablowski) McGee of Van Meer, and Barbra (Jason) Moulds of Manistique; grandchildren – Cristal, Corrina, Ryan, Jolene, Roger, Charlie, Charlene, Alexsandra, Brian, Arianna, Alia, and Joseph; sister – Connie (Frank) Stracener of Arkansas; brother – Benjamin Chilicki of Kinross; and niece Kaitlyn. She was preceded in death by her father Charles Chilicki, granddaughters Torri and Alisa, and infant brother Baby Charlie.
Services will be held at the Bowerman Funeral Home on Friday, February 12, 2021. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Father Michael Ocran will conduct Jackie’s funeral service at 3:00 p.m. Masks and social distance protocols will be enforced during the visitation and the 25-limit person will be in effect for the visitation.
