Mary Mae (Besaw) Palmer

Mary Mae Palmer, age 66, of Shingleton, died on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at UPHS Marquette following a lengthy illness.  She was born on November 19, 1952 in Shingleton to the late John and Margaret (Warchuck) Besaw.  Mary graduated from Wm. G. Mather High School.  She married James Leo Palmer on April 13, 1976 and he preceded her in death on October 14, 1992.  Mary was a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church in Shingleton.  She was environmentally conscious about recycling and she enjoyed gardening.

Mary is survived by her son – Dominic Palmer of Iron Mountian; grandchildren – James and April; sister – Eleanor (George) Livermore of VanMeer; brother – Donald “Duck” (Janet) Besaw of Shingleton; sister-in-law Sharon Besaw of Shingleton; and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband James, and siblings John, Pat, Stanley, David, William and Alice.
