William "Bill" Brock

Bill Brock, age 51 of Norway-Munising died Tuesday, October 19, 2021, at the Milwaukee Veterans Hospital after a lengthy illness.  He was born in Escondido, California to Arland and Phyllis (Ashton) Brock on October 25, 1969.  Bill graduated from Munising High School in 1987.  Shortly after graduation he joined the Navy and served for 4 years.  When he was discharged, he came back to Munising and worked in various jobs, he loved cooking at the Country Connection, and working as a Jack of all Trade in construction.  Bill loved hunting and fishing, he had a green thumb and enjoyed flowers and plants, and spending time with his beloved dog Chloe who was a faithful and special companion to him.

Besides his parents Arland and Phyllis of Munising, sons: Jared Brock of German Town, WI and Andrew Johnson of Munising, Bill is also survived by siblings:  Frankie (Greg) Kurvers of Burnsville, MN; Chuck (Julie) Chemis of Sammamish, WA; Stevie (Steve) Ruda of Lakeview, OR; Toni (Mike) Denman of Munising; Jim (Kim) Brock of Virginia Beach, VA; LaPrel Morrison of Wetmore: and several nieces and nephews.

Militiary honors and graveside services will take place in the Veterans section of the Maple Grove Cemetery on Saturday, July 2, 2022 at 2:00 p.m.
